Monastic Monday: Coming Soon – Guest Post

Hey everyone,

A post is coming, I have not forgot about the monastic fans for today.  I have asked a friend of mine, Sarah Carey, to share some of her thoughts about mercy and monasticism with us today.

Sarah is a graduate of Georgetown University, where she majored English Language and Literature, Secondary Education, and Religion (maybe minored in Religion, if I got that wrong I am sorry).  She has been teaching English in South Korea this past school year.   She is a postulant in the Company of Jesus, the same Third-Order monastic order, I am a member of.  Sarah probably knows more about nuns, especially Medieval mystically inclined nuns, than I could ever hope to know.  All this is to say that what she shares with us today, something she knows a lot about.

So the post for Monastic Monday and a link to Sarah’s blog will be coming soon.
