I went on yahoo.com this morning to check my e-mail and saw this video on the homepage. Check out the video here. It is a four minute video about young preachers. One child is seven years old, the other is nine. Is this too young to be preaching. From what the video shows it seems that these kids at least somewhat know what they are talking about. I am going to try not too outright criticize these kids and their parents. But I really don’t think that these kids should be preaching. I mean really let the kids be kids for a while and then if they want to preach they can go to seminary and learn about the religion, then preach all they want. The kids say that they are the ones that want to do this, I am sure they really do want to, but I also think that adults may be pushing them a bit.
Also on another topic some friends and I have started a new blog where their are multiple authors. Since as you can see I don’t update this blog as often as I would like. So the idea was get more authors get more posts and different ideas. There are still a few people that said that they would post on it that have not yet but when they get there school work done I am sure they will. You will notice a new link in the sidebar, the name of the blog is shared religious thought. Oh and if you might want to post on it let me know and we can work something out. And if you know anyone that knows a lot about Eastern religion or Islam let them know about it. We want to be able to talk about more then Christianity and Judaism.
